OSCA’s 2026 Emerging Leader is Hayden Logan!
Hayden Logan is the Counselor at Banner Public School in El Reno, OK. He was surprised this morning at his school by his wife, Principal Samantha Smith, Superintendent James White, and a classroom full of students, along with his adorable therapy dog named Jinx!
Hayden’s vision for his students: “The impact I hope to make on students centers on helping them develop self-confidence and comfort in expressing their emotions in healthy, productive ways. When students feel secure and supported, they are more willing to share their feelings, advocate for their needs, and engage meaningfully in their learning.”
As the only School Counselor in his district, Hayden has been making a positive impact on the lives of countless students, the Counseling Program at his school, and the School Counseling profession. The Oklahoma School Counselor’s Association is proud to present Hayden with the Emerging Leader Grant for the 2025-2026 school year!
