AWARDS

Oklahoma School Counseling Accountability Report (OSCAR) - A continuous improvement tool that demonstrates how students are different as a result of a comprehensive school counseling program.  Recipients are recognized at our annual Fall conference.

Recognized ASCA Model Program (RAMP) - A designation awarded to individual schools from the American School Counselor Association.

Emerging Leader Grant - A grant to cover expenses and support attendance at the annual ASCA National Conference in July.  Recipient is announced each year during National School Counseling Week in February.

School Counselor of the Year (SCOY) - Honors a school counselor who is running a top-notch, comprehensive school counseling program at the elementary, middle, or high school level.  Oklahoma's winner is submitted to the national level.

OSCA Scholarship - $500 scholarship awarded to an OSCA member in a counseling graduate program who plans to be a school counselor in Oklahoma.  Recipient is recognized at our annual Fall conference.
