.jpg) Congratulations to Sarah Morgan-Forbes 2025 Oklahoma School Counselor of the Year!! The Oklahoma School Counselor Association is honored to present Sarah Morgan-Forbes as the Oklahoma School Counselor of the Year. Sarah Morgan-Forbes is a school counselor and department chair at Union High School. She has been a school counselor for 3 years. Sarah is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she earned a Master of Science in Educational Psychology. Sarah serves as an advocate, guide, and support system for her high school students.She also leads a team of 9 counselors to help coordinate services for over 3, 500 students. During her time at Union High School, Sarah developed and implemented a new, multi-faceted process, which streamlined scheduling. She has also secured over $2,000 in grant funding for counseling program materials for Union High School. |

2024 OSCAR Recipient Congratulations to Wilson Elementary Margaret Saunders Simpson and Lee Acers! The Oklahoma School Counselor Association (OSCA) is pleased to announce that Wilson Elementary has earned the 2024 Oklahoma School Counselor Accountability Report (O.S.C.A.R). The recognized principal and counselor are Margaret Saunders Simpson and Lee Acers, respectively. The award was presented by Cherie Owen. The O.S.C.A.R designation demonstrates to administrators, school boards, families, and the community at large that Wilson Elementary is committed to supporting the mission of the school and district. |
